In the event of an upgrade or downgrade, you will be charged according to the rate of the new tier based on your billing frequency. If you opt to pay on a month-to-month basis, your account will be charged the monthly rate of the new tier. If you are an annual subscriber, your account will be charged the annual (discounted) rate for the new tier.
An Illustrated Example:
January:
EcoAfrica Foundation subscribes to the 500 donor tier plan and pays the invoice for a 12-month pre-payment at the discounted rate: R4500.00 per annum in January.
This works out to R375.00 per month for the duration of the 12-month period: R375 x 12 = R4500.
July:
EcoAfrica Foundation runs a successful fundraising campaign and their donor count exceeds 500. EcoAfrica can now choose to upgrade to the 2000 donor plan, and their subscription fee increases from R375.00 per month to R750.00 per month (annual discounted rate for up to 2000 donors).
October:
The original subscription payment of R4500.00 that was paid in January has been depleted and a new invoice is issued based on current active plan.
