How to edit a receipt:
In the event that you captured the information wrong on the receipt and just need to change it, you can simply do the following.
- Click on receipts in the main menu bar.
- After opening the receipts menu, use the search bar to locate the required receipt.
- Click on the edit icon in the manage column to modify the receipt.
You can also edit any receipt by opening up the receipt popup window and clicking on the Edit button in the bottom right corner:
NOTE:
- You can only make limited changes to a receipt after a Section 18A certificate has been issued on it.
- You cannot edit or change a receipt number, these are system generated.
Changing a donor on a receipt
To edit your donor click on the cross icon to delted the current donor and search for the correct donor’s name.
Once all of your edits have been completed and the information id now correct, click on the “update receipt” option once changes have been made.
