How do I customise my Section 18A certificate's appearance (logo, colours, wording, signature)?

In short: Go to Settings → Section 18A Layout to choose the certificate template, set the primary and secondary colours, edit the wording, and add a global signature. New settings apply to certificates issued afterwards — refresh existing certificates to apply them.

How to customise it

  1. In the top navigation bar, go to Settings.
  2. Open the Section 18A Layout tab.
  3. Under Layout & Colours, pick the Layout (template) and set Primary Color and Secondary Color.
  4. Under Text Customization, edit the wording blocks: Entity Name on Certificate, Certificate Title, Custom Text 1, Custom Text 2, Footer Text and Confirmation Text.
  5. Under Global Signatory, set the Signatory Title and Signatory Name, upload a Signature image (best at 650 x 250px), and tick Automatically sign all Section 18A certificates with the uploaded signature? to apply it everywhere.
  6. Click Save Certificate Settings. You'll see Settings successfully saved. Use the certificate preview to check the look before issuing.

Applying changes to existing certificates

Changing settings does not restyle certificates that are already generated. To pick up a new logo, letterhead, colours, wording or signature on an existing certificate, open it and refresh its PDF (or re-sync all of a donor's certificates).

📌 Note: Your organisation's logo and name come from your settings; the certificate template controls where they appear. A global signatory overrides individual users' signatures.
